Leo Linbeck, III
Acting President of Pulmotect and CEO of Aquinas Companies, LLC, a private, diversified holding company with annual revenues in excess of $500 million. In addition to serving on several corporate and business advisory boards, Mr. Linbeck is an Adjunct Professor at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University, and Lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Burton Dickey, MD
Chair of the Pulmonary Department at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Dickey is an inventor of the original platform technology and is a co-founder of Pulmotect. He is an experienced bench investigator with more than 25 years of independent research. He has served on multiple NIH study sections, is an active clinician, participates in several clinical research programs and serves on the advisory board of multiple companies.
Magnus Höök, PhD
A Director of Pulmotect and a Regents Professor at the Institute of Biosciences and Technology of Texas A&M, where he is the Director of the Center for Infection and Inflammation. Dr. Höök was recognized in 2005 as one of the top 5% funded scientist from the NIH for the past 25 years. Dr. Hook is an inventor and co-founder of Pulmotect. He is also a co-founder of Inhibitex, Inc., a publicly traded company. He has served on scientific advisory boards of several companies.
Mark Worscheh
A Director of Pulmotect and Executive Vice President of Aquinas. Mr. Worscheh has extensive experience in capital raising, having spent the better part of his career as an investment banker, both on Wall Street and in Houston. He has closed early stage financial transactions with major venture capital firms in excess of $60 million during his career.
Brenton Scott, PhD
The Chief Operating Officer and a co-founder of Pulmotect. Dr. Scott’s graduate and postgraduate experience focused on vesicular traffic, airway inflammation and infection. He also serves as a Senior Associate for AlphaDev, LLC and has served as an NSF reviewer on SBIR grants. He received his PhD in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Rice University and his MBA from University of Houston.
John Osborne
The Managing Director of AlphaDev, LLC and a business development leader for Pulmotect. Mr. Osborne has founded three successful venture funded startup companies that include a NYC-based digital technology company, a national retail DVD rental business, and a breakthrough hydration assessment device company. He has a track record of developing and leading early stage ventures, managing their growth, and assembling world class leadership teams to build long term enterprise value. Having raised $100+ million in venture funding, he also brings deep experience working with professional investors to fund & grow promising early stage companies. He received his MBA from Rice University, Jones School of Business and received his B.B.A in finance from Southern Methodist University.
Max Talbott, PhD
A regulatory consultant for Pulmotect and owner of MAX TALBOTT LLC, a healthcare product regulatory and business consultancy located in Austin, Texas. He is a former government and industry executive in the healthcare field with over 35 years of experience in the regulation and development of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology therapies and medical devices. He was also the founder of the International Institute of Healthcare Product Regulation and is the current senior life sciences member of the Texas Emerging Technology Fund Advisory Committee.
